CFL announces commissioner Jeffrey Orridge’s departure from league

The CFL announced earlier today that commissioner Jeffrey Orridge will be departing from the league, effective June 30, 2017.

The CFLPA respects the Board of Governors of the Canadian Football League and commissioner Jeffrey Orridge’s decision to mutually part ways and acknowledges the accomplishments the commissioner has made during the time he has spent working with the league.

“We value the relationship we’ve had with Jeffrey and strongly recognize the work he has put into growing the CFL game,” said Brian Ramsay, CFLPA Executive Director. “We look forward to continuing to work with him through his departure from the league.”

The CFLPA wishes Jeffrey all the best in his future endeavours.
