HALL OF FAME INDUCTION WEEKEND SET

HAMILTON, ONT – Today, the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum announced as a reminder to
all, that the 2015 Induction Ceremony and Hall of Fame Weekend in Saskatoon and Regina Saskatchewan
is set for next weekend. Events run from Wednesday, August 19th to Saturday, August 22nd.

The Jacket Presentation takes place at the Delta Bessborough on August 19th, with the Bust
unveiling on Thursday morning at 9:30 am hosted by the Sheraton Cavalier and sponsored by Tim
Hortons, this event is open to the public, this will be the first time that the Inductees will see
their busts designed by artist Fabien Tremblay from TRIDIM INC. based out of Montreal.

The highlight of all the Inductees is the Induction dinner on Thursday night at TCU Place where the
Class of 2015 will be formally inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. The SaskTel
tailgate party gets started at 5:30 with dinner following at 6:30, dinner tickets (individual or by
tables) can be purchased up until Monday, August 17th from the Hall of Fame by calling 905.528.7566

“Hall of Fame weekend is very exciting and emotional for all the inductees and we are very pleased
that both Saskatoon and Regina are working together in 2015 to celebrate such a special induction
weekend.” says Mark DeNobile, Executive Director of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum.
“The fact that we are incorporating both the CIS and the CFL football games into the weekend events
is a first for the Hall of Fame and helps with us fulfilling our mandate for Canadian football.

“These ten months have been a bit surreal; everything is finally starting to sink in. This is a
once in a lifetime experience and I’m looking forward to enjoying this weekend with my family,
friend and fellow inductees.” remarked Class of 2015 Inductee Eddie Davis.

The weekend attracts Hall of Fame and CFL Alumni and fans from across the country for three days of
fun and excitement that pays tribute to legends of the game.

For the first time ever the Canadian Football Hall of Fame will be part of a CIS game when the
University of Saskatchewan Huskies host the Wilfred Laurier Golden Hawks of the OUA in a
non-conference game on Friday night Aug 21 and then we will take part on the Hall of Fame Game on
Saturday August 22 broadcast on TSN when the Saskatchewan Roughriders host the Calgary Stampeders
at Mosaic Stadium.

The Class of 2015 includes builders Bob Wetenhall, Bob O’Billovich and Larry Reda along with
players Leroy Blugh, Dave Dickenson, Eddie Davis and Gene Makowsky.

Proceeds raised will benefit the Canadian Football Hall of Fame, the Saskatoon Hilltops and the
University of Saskatchewan Huskies.

About the Hall of Fame
The Class of 2015 will bring the total Hall of Fame members to 278 members already included in the
Hall’s Zone of Champions, which features busts of each member of the Hall.

The Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum operates as a non-profit registered charity. Located
in Hamilton, Ontario since 1963, and in its current location next to Hamilton City Hall since 1972,
the Hall is home to more than 30,000 Canadian football artefacts, ranging from equipment and
trophies to photos and videos.
