Ken is the former President of the Canadian Labour Congress, and assists the CFLPA by overseeing all collective agreement matters. Ken has over thirty-five years experience in labour relations. Elected Vice-President of the British Columbia Federation of Labour in 1984, he became its youngest-ever President two years later. At the same time, he broadened his national labour involvement by becoming the President of the Canadian Labour Congress, where he served until 2014 . Ken is an Order of Canada recipient, and was also the longest serving president in the Canadian Labour Congress’ history.
