Adam appeared in 12 regular season games and the West Semi-Final seeing action on special teams as well as defensive packages. Adam recorded eight special teams stops, two forced fumbles, 24 defensive tackles, two tackles for loss and two pass knockdowns. He also recorded three tackles in the West Semi-Final.
2005-2008: Leonard played a full four-year scholarship-based career at the University of Hawaii, leading the team in tackles as a junior and sophomore before injuries slowed him down. Current Lions linebacker Solomon Elimimian was his teammate with the Warriors along with former Leo Ryan Grice-Mullen. Leonard finished high among all-time school leaders with 316 tackles (behind the all-time leader Elimimian), to go with 5.5 sacks, five career interceptions and three defensive TDs for Hawaii.
Leonard went undrafted by the NFL in 2009 after following his senior season at Hawaii and had a brief tryout with the NFL's Seattle Seahawks before being released.
