A breakout campaign for the rookie defensive end who earned a starting role out of training camp and played in 17 regular season games registering 43 defensive tackles, 10 sacks, nine tackles for a loss and a forced fumble. His defensive tackle total ranked sixth among a dominant Lions defence, while his nine stops for a loss were a team best with his sack total trailing only teammate Khreem Smith.

2010-2013: Alex appeared in 45 games over four years for the Thundering Herd recording 109 career tackles, 10 of which were for a loss, as well as two sacks. His best season came in 2013 where Alex picked up 80 tackles with 11 of those coming from one game against WVU on September 1.

Alex, who was born in Ligeria, moved to Maryland, where he calls home, when he was five years old. He graduated from famed Marshall University in 2013 and says the most enjoyable thing about his move to Vancouver has been the people. Alex is a big foodie and enjoys checking out the restaurant scene on the west coast. He’s a fan of pretty much all music, but credits Nicki Minaj, Drake, and Meek Mills as his favourites.
