In his first season in the CFL, Hall became known as an elite pass rusher, leading the league in sacks at the time of his injury with nine. He started 14 games at defensive end, missing the final four after injuring his knee in October. His nine sacks were a team-high on the season and he added 31 defensive tackles on his way to being named Winnipeg’s Most Outstanding Defensive Player. He was also named the league’s Defensive Player of the Week after recording one sack and two forced fumbles against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Aug 16/12.
Hall was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the seventh round (231st overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft and played in 16 games as a rookie, including two starts, recording 28 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles. He suited up in 14 games the following season before being traded to the Philadelphia Eagles in the offseason. Hall spent the 2010 preseason with the New York Giants but was among the team’s final cuts and was picked up by the Arizona Cardinals before being re-claimed on waivers by the Giants where he appeared in two games, registering one tackle.
St. Augustine's Falcons (NCAA Div. II) Hall finished his collegiate career as St. Augustine’s all-time leader in sacks with 25.5 and tackles for loss with 54. He was a two-time First Team All-CIAA and two-time Division II All-American.
