He led the team and was seventh in the CFL setting a single-season career-high with 1,033 kickoff return yards on 43 kickoff returns, LG 84.  His kickoff return yards total was the fourth-highest single-season output by an Argos player ever (behind Dominique Dorsey, Raghib Ismail and Michael Clemons)

2008

Personal

Andre currently resides in Oakville, Ontario and has two children, Malcolm (6), who has been diagnosed with autism, and Cian (5).  He is the son of Melva Durie and has two older brothers named Wayne (42) and Kyron (34) and a younger sister named Brianna (21).  He credits Kyron with introducing him to football.  Nicknamed “Slick”, Andre spent the off-season working with Community Living Mississauga as a support worker, working with The Argos Foundation’s Youth Mentorship Program and with the Children’s Aid Society.  As a child, he idolized Michael “Pinball” Clemons, along with Michael Jordan and Emmett Smith.   A member of the Mississauga Warriors of the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL) in 2001, Andre established a league record for rushing touchdowns (22) as well as rushing touchdowns in a single game (6).  He also played at St. Joseph High School in Mississauga.
