2009

Cahoon recorded 1,031 yards on 89 attempts and scored 2 touchdowns.

2008

He became the first Alouette receiver with seven-consecutive 1,000-yard seasons… On July 4 vs Winnipeg, he set a new team record with his 55th career receiving touchdown… On Oct. 4 at Hamilton, he surpassed Ray Elgaard for most receptions by a Canadian in CFL history with 831… He led the CFL for most receptions and finished fifth for most receiving yards… He missed the first game of the season with a quad injury.

2007

He became the first Alouette receiver with six consecutive 1,000 yard seasons… He reached the Top 10 for all-time best CFL receivers for yards… He was first in the CFL for most receptions and fifth for most receiving yards.

2006

He became the first Alouette receiver with five consecutive 1,000 yard seasons… He reached the Top 10 for all-time best CFL receivers for receptions… He was second in the CFL for most receptions and fifth for most receiving yards.

2005

He finished third among Alouette receivers despite missing four games with a broken wrist and elbow.

College

Cahoon played two seasons at Ricks College, now known as BYU-Idaho, in Rexburg, Idaho. He set school records for most receptions and most receiving yards in a single season and in a career. In 1994, he ranked second in the nation in receiving and was named Junior College All-American. He played in every game for the Cougars in 1996, when BYU became the first Division I-A team in NCAA history to win 14 games in a single season. In his senior season, Cahoon became BYU's top receiver with 84 catches. He averaged 84.6 receiving yards per game during that season including an 8-catch, 217-yard performance in the Cougars' 10-7 win at Arizona State University. After retiring from the CFL Cahoon returned to his alma mater to instruct a new generation of receivers.

Personal

Ben was named an East Division All-Star in 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. He has also been named a CFL All Star on numerous occasions. In 2008, Cahoon broke Peter Dalla Riva's record for most touchdowns ever by an Alouette receiver. He has had nine 1,000 yard receiving seasons, including a streak of eight straight. Cahoon majored in physical therapy at BYU. He was recruited by Utah State, Yale, New Mexico and Idaho. He is married to Kimberli and they have four daughter. After experiencing the awesome effects of a new insole, Cahoon purchased the company Power Pad Insoles, a performance enhancing insoles company.
