Brandon led the club in pass knockdowns with eight and shared the team lead with three interception. Browner recorded 39 tackles for the season as well as four special-teams tackles. Browner was named to the West Division, CFL and CFLPA all-star teams.
In his second season, Browner was among the league leaders in defensive turnover stats. Browner recorded three interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, giving him eight takeaways, a total which tied for second in the CFL. On Sept. 1 against Edmonton, he recorded a career-high seven tackles. He ended the season with 61 tackles (tied for third on the team) and recorded his second career sack. Browner added eight pass knockdowns and made an impact on special teams where he recorded 14 tackles, fourth on the team and the most among defensive regulars. He added an interception in the West Final against BC and started in the Grey Cup game despite battling injury. Browner also started every game in 2008, one of only three defensive players to do so.
As a rookie cornerback, Browner was the Stamps’ fourth-leading tackler with 55 and he was second with 16 special-teams tackles. Browner tied for the league lead with four forced fumbles. He also recorded one sack and knocked down a team-leading five passes. He recorded season-high six tackles against Edmonton on Sept. 7 and Winnipeg on Oct. 14. Browner also recorded two tackles for a loss.
Signed as an undrafted free agent by the Denver Broncos in 2005… released on July 24, 2006…signed as a free agent on April 30, 2007 with the Calgary Stampeders.

Browner was a Prep Star West All-Region and All-Valley Mission League selection at Sylmar (Calif.) High School as a senior ... He also earned Mission League MVP honors. As a junior, Browner played at Monroe (North Hills, Calif.) High. During his prep career, he competed as a receiver where he accounted for 1,726 career yards and 24 touchdowns, and on defense as a cornerback where he recorded 16 career interceptions ... as a senior, he also returned three punts for touchdowns ... At Monroe, Browner lettered in track, competing in the high jump and 200 meters.
