Started all 18 regular season games with the Tiger-Cats…switched from left tackle to right guard at the beginning of the season…named an East Division All-Star and the Ticats Most Outstanding Lineman. Playoffs: Started in both of the Ticats playoff games, including the 102nd Grey Cup vs. Calgary. Now a veteran on Hamilton's offensive line, Simmons became a force to be reckoned with at Tackle. So much so that he earned the acknowledgement of his peers being elected to the 2014 CFLPA All-Star Team.
Started 14 games in his third season with the Tiger-Cats…was listed on the injury list for four games…Playoffs: Started two games for the Tiger-Cats, including the 101st Grey Cup vs. Saskatchewan…missed the Eastern Final vs. Toronto due to injury.
Started all 18 games at left tackle during his second season with the Ticats.
Started 10 games in his rookie season with the Tiger-Cats...missed four games due to injury...made his Ticats debut July 1 vs. Winnipeg. Playoffs: Started at left tackle for two playoff games.
Signed by the NFL’s New England Patriots on August 15...attended training camp and was released by the Patriots on August 29.
