Dressed in 7 regular season games with five (5) starts for Toronto… Week 3, Made CFL debut starting at RB for the injured Cory Boyd in loss at Montreal and scored his first CFL touchdown (15/07/11)...Rushed 11 times for 39 yards, LG 14...Had a 53-yard TD catch from Cleo Lemon, finishing with 2 catches for 48 yards...Also fumbled twice, losing both...Week 4, Started at RB and scored 2 TDs in loss vs. Winnipeg...Carried 13 times for 74 yards, LG 16 and 2 TDs for his first multi-touchdown game of his career (23/07/11)...Week 5, Started at RB in loss at Edmonton…Carried 20 times for 139 yards, LG 23 and 2 TDs (His second multi-touchdown game in a row)…Week 6, Started at RB in loss vs. Montreal…Caught 1 pass for 11 yards and rushed 10 times for 62 yards, LG 19...Week 7, Added to 46-man active roster but did not dress in loss at Hamilton...Replaced on roster by Cory Boyd…Week 8-15 Remained on 46-man active roster but did not dress…Week 16, Dressed as third string RB and played ST in win vs. Calgary…Carried 3 times for 35 yards, AVG 11.7, LG 24…Made 2 ST tackles…Week 17, Dressed as backup RB and played ST in loss vs. Edmonton…Made 1 ST tackle... Week 18, on 46-man roster but did not dress in win at Winnipeg.


On April 24th Kackert signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaquars.  September 4th he was waived as a final training camp cut. In October he was signed to practice with the Calgary Stampeders.


He earned Second-Team ALL-CAA at Running Back.  Led the team in rushes in his senior year with 168 catches for 780 yards, and 10 TDs.


Carried 99 times for 780 yards with 6 touch downs.  Led the team with 20.4 avg. on 25 kickoff returns with a long of 59.  15 receptions for 176 yards and 2 TD.


Played in only 9 games due to an injury.  Led Universiy of New Hampshire in kick returns with 26.3 AVG…Carried 80 times for 380 yards and 4 TDs.


Top returning rusher with 115 carries for 584 yards, and 5 TDs.  Recorded 14 catches for 166 yards, and 2 TDs.


Charles Kackert (PRO: KAK-ERT) was nicknamed ‘Chad’ at a young age by his father, Craig Kackert. His mom is Bette Kackert and his sister Jamie works in the not-for-profit sector.  Chad was a kinesiology/pedagogy major at New Hampshire where he played football with the younger brother of Argos teammate Alex Buzbee. Chad plays piano and enjoys listening to all types of music. He also enjoys travel as he has driven his car throughout most of North America this off-season


Played for the New Hampshire from (2006-09), he was a  4 year letterman at Running Back and returner.
