Chris signed with the Edmonton Eskimos as a free agent in 2013 and appeared in 29 games over two seasons with the Green and Gold. He notched his first career interception versus his previous club on July 7/13. He wrapped up his time with Edmonton with a total of 40 defensive tackles, seven stops on special teams and a sack.

2013

In 11 games (five starts), Rwabukamba recorded 15 defensive tackles, six special teams tackles, two interceptions, one sack, one forced fumble, one pass knockdown and one fumble recovery. Rwabukamba earned his first career CFL interception in Week 2 against Hamilton and his first career sack in Week 11 against Calgary. Rwabukamba was placed on the one-game injured list in Weeks 13-16.
