Dan started all 18 regular season games and has not missed a game in three seasons. As the club's long snapper (on punts and field goals), Dan's consisitency has been contributed to the teams success on special teams. The Lions didn't have a blocked punt or field goal against, and Dan recorded seven special teams tackles.
Dan was significant for the Lions’ special teams in 2009. He filled in as the long snapper for punts and some field goals and also added five special teams tackles.
Found a regular place in the Lions game day roster in 2008 as the long snapper on special teams and notched five special team tackles.
Dan spent part of the season on the Lions’ practice roster before returning to Bishop’s University to play-out his remaining year of eligibility.
McCullough played four seasons at defensive end with the Gaiters after spending two years with the Cegep AAA Champlain Cougars. He also served as the team’s long snap specialist and was selected to the East-West Bowl the last two years. He did not miss a game in his four years with the Gaiters, recording 118 tackles, including 96 solo tackles, in 32 games and also added 18 sacks and 33 TFL. He was selected to the Quebec University Football League All-Star team in 2005.
McCullough was a Humanities major at Bishop’s. During the off-season, he donates his time as a volunteer football coach for Quebec’s Champlain College. An avid music fan, Dan stays active by weightlifting. He spends the off-season in his hometown of Fredericton, New Brunswick.
