Clark played four years at Penn State and was the Nittany Lions’ starter for his final two seasons. He was named the Big Ten’s all-conference quarterback in 2009 after completing 60.9 per cent of his passes (232 for 381) and throwing for 3,003 yards and a school-record 24 touchdowns. He also rushed for 211 yards and seven majors. He was named co-winner of the 2009 Chicago Tribune Silver Football as the most valuable player in the Big Ten. He was also all-Big Ten in 2008 when he threw for 2,592 yards and 19 touchdowns. He is the Nittany Lions’ career leader with 43 touchdown passes.
