Signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on June 1…released by the team following training camp on June 23…Started 12 regular season games with the Tiger-Cats after re-signing with the team on July 24…finished the season second among Ticats defensive backs with 41 tackles, eight special teams tackles, four tackles for a loss, three forced fumbles and five pass knockdowns as a rookie…had a season-high nine defensive tackles vs. Montreal on October 26…made CFL debut and recorded his first career tackle on July 27 at Saskatchewan. Played 49 games in four seasons (2007-11) at East Carolina…recorded 230 defensive tackles (143 solo, 87 assisted), 1.5 quarterback sacks, nine interceptions, and returned two interceptions for touchdowns as a Pirate…had 62 defensive tackles (33 solo, 29 assisted), a quarterback sack and an interception as a senior… ranks among ECU’s top five in all-time pass breakups with (36) and 11th in interceptions (9)…named second team All-Conference USA in 2010…redshirted freshman year.
