On April 6th he signed with the Argonauts as a free agent. He attend their training camp and on June 6th was released.

Attended Minnesota Vikings training camp and was released. Signed as a free agent on November 19th with the Detroit Lions. Dressed in 4 games and had 9 tackles and a pass knock down.
Selected in the 5th round of the NHL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, he dressed for 16 games, majority for special teams. In the season he recorded 14 tackles - 12 solo.
Played for 4 years at the University of Georgia (2002-05) and never missed a game. Played the Rover position (safety/defensive back) in Georgia’s defence. In his final 2 seasons with the Bulldogs, he recorded 156 tackles, 134 solo tackles, 7.5 tackles for a loss, 11 quarterback pressures, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, 2 interceptions and 8 deflected passes. As a senior, he earned All-SEC honors and was an All-American First-team selection
Greg is the father of twin infant boys, Shaun & Christian. He’s from Georgia but lives in Minnesota in the off-season. He enjoys bowling, watching movies and spending time with his sons. In high school, Greg was named all-state in football and basketball.
