2008

Greg was signed by BC on Aug 4/08 and spent the remainder of the season on the club’s Practice Roster.

2007

Played one game for Calgary making his CFL debut July 21 vs Toronto. Drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the 6th round (46th overall) of the 2007 CFL Canadian Draft.

College

Played five seasons with the McGill Redmen (2002-06) and finished up with 116 receptions for 1,690 yards and 14 TDs. Also competed on the McGill track & field team in 2003-04 and 2004-05. Has unique distinction of owning the McGill record for the fastest touchdown scored in a game, a 76-yard bomb from QB Dave Campbell on McGill's first play from scrimmage at the 30-second mark of a win at Bishop's in 2003.

Personal

Current Lions assistant coach Chuck McMann was his coach at McGill University where he majored in Education (Kinesiology).  A two-sport athlete, Hetherington was named a high school all-star in his senior year.  He played for High Park in the 1995 Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.
