Highlights

2014

Arthur played 14 games and had nine catches for 77 yards and two touchdowns. He started the season on the six-game injury list but came back early, getting into the lineup on Aug. 1 against the Lions.

2013

Arthur played in all 18 games and had a career-high 41 catches for 510 yards and three touchdowns. He got his first TD of the season on Sept. 21 against the Argos. He was named CFL's Canadian player of the week for his performance on Sept. 28 against Hamilton when he caught four passes for a career-high 103 yards and two touchdowns. Arthur also played in the Western Final and had two catches for 15 yards. 

2012

Arthur played in seven regular-season games for the Stamps, with one start in the final game of the season, and recorded a total of seven catches for 92 yards. Arthur was placed on the nine-game injured list after suffering a hamstring injury on July 12 in Montreal. He returned to the lineup on Sept. 28. Arthur also played in the West semifinal, the West final and the Grey Cup game, totaling four receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown. His first-ever playoff touchdown came in the second quarter of the West semifinal on a 38-yard pass from Drew Tate.

2011

Athur saw action in 14 regular-season games and recorded career bests with 28 receptions and 372 yards to go along with his first career touchdown. His best game of the season came on Aug. 12 in Regina as he made seven catches for 92 yards and one touchdown in a win over the Roughriders. The performance earned him the CFL’s Canadian player of the week award for Week 7. Arthur had seven other multiple-catch games during the regular season and added two receptions for 26 yards in the West Division semifinal. His longest receiving play of the season was a 32-yarder against Saskatchewan on July 30.

2010

After being released and picked up (by the Stampeders) Arthur spent a week on the practice roster before making 14 consecutive regular-season appearances. He also played the West Final. For the season, Arthur caught 11 passes for 97 yards. He also contributed on special teams with two tackles. Arthur had one catch for 18 yards in the West Final.

2008

Arthur was signed in Week 13, was active for four regular-season games and made six special-teams tackles. He also dressed for both the West Final and the Grey Cup.

Acquired

Calgary drafted Arthur in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2007 CFL draft. He signed on Sept. 22, 2008. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs in April of 2008 and released in August of that year.

College

Arthur attended Akron University from 2003 to 2007. In 2007, he was named player of the month for October and was the Fred Sefton Award recipient for offensive performance. Arthur was a nominee for the James Horrigan Male Athlete of the Year award. He established Zips records for receptions (184) and yards (2,653).

Personal

Arthur attended CEGEP at Vanier College in St-Laurent, Que. The Cheetahs recorded a 42-4 record during Arthur’s time there.
