2012

Dressed and started in 15 regular season games for Toronto… Week 4, Started at WR and had four (4) catches for 72 yards …and caught his first touchdown as an Argonaut in a win vs. Winnipeg … Week 8, Started at WR at Calgary and had four (4) catches for 44 yards in a win at Calgary…Week 13, Was on the teams 46-man active roster but did not dress...Released by team but resigned to team’s practice roster... 2011

Jason played 14 games (13 starts) and finished 3rd on the team in receiving yards with 50 catches for 869 yards and 7 touchdowns. Jason has had 100+ yards receiving in 4 games this season. He missed 4 games with broken ribs. Barnes also started the Western Semi-Final (4 catches for 55 yards and a touchdown) and the Western Final (6 catches for 99 yards and a touchdown).

2010

Barnes had his first start in Week 3, he was on the reserve list for the first 2 games of the season.  He started and played in 12 games.  He achieved 3 touchdowns, 35 catches for 608 yards, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on special teams for a 31 yard return. Barnes was badly injured in the Hamilton game on Oct 8.  He suffered a ruptured spleen, bruised kidney and lung.  He was placed on the 9 game injury list after he was sandwiched between the 2 Tiger-Cat defenders.

College

Played one season at Sacramento State (2006) and two at Sierra Jr. College (2004-05)…2006 (Sacramento State) Played in 10 games and finished as the team’s leading receiver with 28 catches for 623 yards and 2 TDs…2005 & 2004 (Sierra Jr. College) Named All-Conference as a receiver and his team’s record over two seasons was 21-1.
