Jeremy played two games for the Lion's, he recorded three defensive tackles, one tackle for loss and one fumble recovery. He was released by the Lion's on July 18th.
Jeremy started 11 of the 14 games he played in and recorded two sacks and 22 tackles as well as a fumble recovery and also a forced fumble.
Jeremy spent the 2008 season on the practice roster after attending training camp. He signed with the club following an impressive free agent camp performance in Portland.
A two-year contributor at Oregon (’06-’07) after a stint at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Gibbs recorded 13 tackles in 13 appearances as a senior and added 5.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks. In his first season in 2006, Jeremy was the team’s fourth leading defender among linemen and had four tackles in his in Division I debut vs. Stanford as well as a sack and a blocked field goal.
Chosen a first-team National Junior College Athletic Association All-American after accumulating 42 tackles in 2005, including seven quarterback sacks and an additional six tackles for loss. Named a First Team All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference.
