The youngest player on the Stampeders roster in 2010, Dixon was activated off the practice roster to make his professional debut on Oct. 11 in Montreal. He was at halfback the following week at Saskatchewan as he made his first CFL start and turned in two tackles and a pass knockdown in the Stamps’ win over the Roughriders. He was also a starter in Calgary’s regular-season finale as the Stamps defeated Winnipeg. In three games, he recorded four tackles and one pass knockdown.

College

Dixon played two seasons at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville, Miss. In 16 games with the Wildcats, he recorded 34 tackles, five interceptions, three forced fumbles and 1.5 sacks. During Pearl River’s 2009 season-opener, he recovered a fumble and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown. He was named to the JCFootball.com pre-season All-American second team in 2009.
