A fantastic debut season for the rookie defensive back out of Purdue taking over the difficult nickel position in the Lions secondary. Josh started all 16 games in which he dressed, missing two games due to injury at the season’s midway point. He notched his first of two interceptions on the year in Saskatchewan on July 12/14 when he returned a Darian Durant pass 53 yards. His second came in Hamilton off Zach Collaros resulting in 38-yard touchdown. Josh finished the year with 44 tackles, good enough for fifth on the club along with four sacks and four tackles for a loss.
2009-2012: Josh started 36 of his 49 career appearances for the Boilermakers over four seasons recording 149 tackles, 31 knockdowns and six interceptions. The Florida native was twice named to the Big Ten’s All-Academic Team as well as being an Honorable Mention as a senior in 2012.
