Josh’s parents are Alvin and Sharon Abrams. He was a 2 year letter winner at Dunwoody H.S. in Georgia and was named All-Region as a senior. A former track athlete, he holds the North Carolina state record in the 4x400 relay
Played 4 seasons at Ohio University (2004-07) primarily on offence and special teams. 2007 Played in 11 games as a rusher, receiver, and special teams player. Led the Bobcats on the kickoff return with a total of 683 yards. Twice named MAC Special Teams Player of the Week. For a 2nd season in a row he blocked 3 punts. 2006 Played in all 14 games as a reserve running back and on special teams. Led Bobcats with 11 ST tackles. Blocked a team-high 3 punts. Rushed for 36 yards on 19 carries. 2005 Played in 8 games primarily as a backup running back and on ST. Recorded 5 tackles on special teams for the season. 2004 Started season as redshirt but activated 4 games into season when injuries in offensive backfield moved him onto the depth chart. Dressed mainly as a backup RB and on ST.
