Joseph dressed for 18 games (7 starts). He got his first of three
consecutive starts in the Labour Day Classic. In total, he saw action in
13 games, going 153 of 254 (60.2%) for 2187 yards and 12 touchdowns and
10 interceptions. He carried the 40 times for 238 yards and 3
touchdowns. He also caught a 14-yard pass from RB Hugh Charles for a
first down on October 13 vs. Saskatchewan. Joseph also started the
Eastern Semi-Final and went 12 of 25 for 192 yards and two touchdowns
and one interception. He also rushed six times for 58 yards and a
touchdown.
2011
Joseph dressed as the team's 2nd string quarterback in all 18 games and
was used mostly in short yardage plays. He carried the ball 26 times for
77 yards and 6 touchdowns. He also completed 18 of 31 passes (58.1%)
for 226 yards (12.6 avg, 49 lg) and one interception. He saw significant
playing time in Game 8 vs. BC. Joseph also dressed for the Western
Semi-Final and Western Final.
2010
(Edmonton) Joseph dressed for one game as a backup quarterback. He was on the 1-Game Injured List for Game 18.

Signed as a free agent on June 8, 2011.
Career
Joseph was originally signed by the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals as an
undrafted free agent in 1996, where he spent most of the season on the
practice roster. He played QB for the World League's London Monarchs in
1997. He later signed with Washington in 1997 and moved to tailback
during training camp. In the apring of 1998, Joseph played for the Rhein
Fire as a safety and won the World Bowl Championship. Kerry then signed
with the Seattle Seahawks in the spring of 1998 where he played safety
for the next four seasons. He was released by Seattle in April 2002 and
signed by Ottawa in April of 2003. That season, Kerry made his CFL debut
on July 1 at Calgary, replacing Dan Crowley in second half. He threw
his CFL first TD in fourth quarter of that game, 61 yards to Demetris
Bendross. He became team's No. 1 pivot after the release of Dan Crowley
on July 4. That season, Joseph had a streak of 15 consecutive games with
a touchdown pass which set an Ottawa professional football record,
previously held by Russ Jackson, set during the 1966 and 1967 seasons.
He became only the fifth quarterback in CFL history to throw at least
one TD pass in 15 straight games. The others: Sam Etcheverry, Doug
Flutie, Joe Kapp and Khari Jones. He surpassed Dan Crowley's
single-season Renegades passing yard total from 2002 (2,697) and set
single-season franchise records for pass completions (269), pass
attempts (475), passing yards (3,666), completion percentage (56.6),
touchdowns (19) and interceptions thrown (20). He was the team's nominee
for CFL Most Outstanding Player. In 2005, Kerry became only the third
player in league history to exceed 4,000 yards passing (4,466) and 1,000
rushing (1,006). Kerry was selected first overall by Saskatchewan in
the Ottawa Player Dispersal Draft in April, 2006. In 2007, Kerry rushed
for 13 touchdowns, the second most by a quarterback in a single season
in CFL history. He led the Riders to a Grey Cup Championship and became
the first Saskatchewan Roughrider to win the CFL’s Most Outstanding
Player award since the 1976 season when Ron Lancaster won it. He was
traded to Toronto in the spring of 2008 and played for the Argonauts for
two seasons.
College/Personal
Joseph led the team to a 42-11 record during four seasons as the McNeese State starting quarterback. He was named MVP of McNeese State in his senior year of 1995 and was also named to the All-Southland Conference Team and Conference Player of the Year. Kerry received the 1995 James J. Corbett Memorial Award as outstanding amateur athlete in Louisiana During his time at McNeese, Kerry set 15 school records. Joseph was also the reserve punter. In addition to football, Kerry participated in track & field at McNeese in javelin. Kerry throws with his right arm and kicks with his left foot. He was married to Courtney Jackson in May.
