Adams made his CFL debut in week one against the BC Lions, suiting up as a backup receiver. He spent the next three weeks on the reserve roster before being added to the practice roster where he spent the next 10 weeks. Making his first professional start at slotback on Oct 13/12 against the Calgary Stampeders, Adams caught three passes for 19 yards before leaving the game due to injury, forcing him to sit out the final three weeks of the season.
After signing with Winnipeg in September, Adams spent the remainder of the season on the practice roster.
Harding Bison (NCAA Div.II): Adams is the Harding University record holder for most receiving yards in a season after recording 1,122 in 2008.
