Gordon started and played 15 games, he recorded 54 Defensive Tackles, 7 Special Teams Tackles, a forced fumble, 4 knockdowns and a blocked kick. Lenny Walls received an injury and Gordon was moved from Cornerback to Halfback. Sept 26th Gordon left the game in the 2nd quarter due to an elbow injury, he was placed on the 1-game injury list. Game 14 he was on the reserve list.


Started all 18 games with the Ticats…finished second on the team with 72 defensive tackles…led the team with three fumble recoveries and 10 pass knockdowns…also added one tackle for a loss and four special teams tackles.


Started all 18 games in his first full season with the Ticats…recorded 51 defensive tackles, 10 special teams tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and five pass knockdowns…Recorded a season-high seven defensive tackles and also made a special teams tackle in Montreal on August 25.


Played eight games for the Ticats in his first season in Black and Gold, recording 19 defensive tackles, seven special teams tackles and two interceptions ... Was the Ticats nominee for the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie award ... Earned an honourable mention as CFL Defensive Player of the Week for his performance on Week 15 in Edmonton


Played and started every game at left corner...recorded 63 tackles which was third among all defensive players and was the highest non-linebacker...had a season-high nine tackles at Texas State...recovered one fumble and had one interception and a 37-yard return against Illinois State...will return and is expected to start on the deepest unit of the otherwise very inexperienced squad. Saw action in every game...tallied 28 tackles, including 14 solo...also credited with three tackles for a loss of four yards...had one interception. Played up his position quickly and saw time as a true freshman...saw action in eight games...best outing was against Morris Brown...recorded one solo and a total of three tackles.


Social work major...son of Marion Spates...born March 30, 1984 in Hallandale, FL...played for Bob Wood at Hallandale High School...team finished his senior season with a 9-1 record...only loss was in the first round of the play-offs to the eventual State Champions Rockledge...as a defensive back, he grabbed three interceptions...on special teams, he returned one punt for a touchdown...offensively, he rushed for more than 400 yards and five touchdowns...he also had catches for more than 200 yards in a Running offence...for his efforts, Gordon earned All-Digest and was named second team all-county by both the Sun Sentinel and the Miami Herald.
