Congi made 233-of-290 field goal attempts (80.3%, longest: 55 yards) and 324 converts during eight seasons in the Canadian Football League with Saskatchewan and Hamilton.


Played all 18 games in his first season with the Tiger-Cats after signing as a free agent on March 22…led CFL in kickoffs with 96 kickoffs for a total 5,524 yards (57.5 AVG, 72 LG)…also finished season ranked second in CFL in kicking points after hitting 40 of 45 field goal attempts (88.9%);named Eastern Division All-Star;made first appearance as a Ticat on June 29 vs. SSK.


Did not suit up for a game in his sixth season with the Roughriders...spent 10 games, including the first nine of the season, on the injured list and eight on the four man inactive list...was released by the Riders on December 20.


Luca started in 15 regular season games as kicker. He missed the remainder of the season due to knee injury. He was named Special Teams Player of the Week (week 5), made 26  field goal attempts (of 34), punted twice for 69 yards and had one kick-off for 21 yards.


Started all 18 regular season games, the West Final and the Grey Cup as the field goal kicker…was named CFL Special Teams Player of the Week in week 11 and was the CFL’s Special Teams Player of the Month for September…was successful in 33 of 43 field goal attempts for a 77.0% accuracy rating…also had a 39.4 yard average on 20 punts.


Started all 18 regular season games and West Semi-Final as the Rider field goal kicker…was also the starting punter for one game…successfully kicked 38 of 44 field goals for a CFL leading 86.4% accuracy rating…was successful on all 50 covert attempts…was named the CFL Special Teams Player of the Week in week 16…received third straight nomination as Riders Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.


Started all 18 regular season games as the Rider field goal kicker…also started both playoff games and the Grey Cup…successfully kicked 31 of 45 field goal attempts…was successful on all 57 of his convert attempts…Rider nominee for Most Outstanding Special Teams Player.


Named CFL Rogers Special Teams Player of the Week following Week 2.


Played five seasons with the Simon Fraser Clan…was good on 15 of 20 field goals in his senior year, longest from 46-yards out…punted the ball 62 times for 2,509 yards for a 40.5 average with a 60-yard punt being his longest of the season…finished with a 53.8 yard average on kickoffs.


Luca spent the off-season in Waterloo where he trains and spends time out in the community speaking to kids at schools…He also hosted a couple kicking camps in the area while spending his remaining free time with friends, family and his girlfriend.
