Played in four regular season games, starting in one, in his first season with the Tiger-Cats…spent the first half of the season on the nine-game injury list and spent an additional four games on the one-game injury list…recorded one defensive tackle and five special teams tackles…made Ticats debut on September 13 at Calgary. Playoffs: Played in all three of the Tiger-Cats playoff games, including the 101st Grey Cup vs. Saskatchewan…had four defensive tackles and two special teams tackles.
Suited up in 13 games in his third season in Winnipeg…recorded a career-high 52 tackles, two quarterback sacks and one interception.
Played in 16 games during his second season with the Blue Bombers…made 50 tackles and a career-high four quarterback sacks. Playoffs: Started in each of Winnipeg’s two playoff games, including their Grey Cup loss to BC.
Marcellus played in 14 regular season games, he missed four due to a hand injury. He finished his season with 51 tackles, three sacks, one interception and two fumble recoveries.
Played four seasons at Boston College after redshirting in his first year at school. Had 12 tackles as a freshman and saw action in all 13 games. Had an injury-plagued sophomore season but bounced back as a reserve in his junior year with three interceptions. Returned one pick for 87 yards and a TD and registerd 31 total tackles. Became a starter at strong side safety in his senior season and finished second on the Eagles with 73 tackles. Added two interceptions and attracted a great deal of scouting interest prior to the NFL Draft.
