Bomber fans and coaches caught only a brief glimpse of Parenteau's potential in '05. He dressed for the team's season finale against the Calgary Stampeders and got the start as a result of injuries to a couple of Bomber regulars.
Parenteau was a fifth round (36th overall) pick of the Ottawa Renegades in the 2003 Canadian College Draft but did not dress for the team.
Parenteau was Mr. Versatility at Boston College. He started at four different positions on the offensive line for the Eagles. Parenteau was a named to the 2002 All-Big East first all-star team and was a key part of the Eagle offensive line. He started every game at right tackle that season. He started all 12 of the Eagles games in 2001. He was part of an offensive line that paved the way for 4,361 yards of total offence that season.
Born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Marc moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida at the age of 12 where he finished his schooling…He attended Boston College where he graduated with a bachelors degree in business administration and finance…works as a Realtor for Exit Realty Fusion year-round in Regina and surrounding cities...he is involved in various school programs where he speaks to young students about the importance of staying in school, recylcing, literacy and bullying prevention...he also represents the team at many different functions and fundraisers...his fiancee Leslie and him have made Regina their year-round home since 2007.
