(Calgary) Michel was first activated for Game 2 and in 13 games (11 starts) he had 41 catches for 780 yards and three touchdowns and two carries for 11 yards. He has also returned three kickoffs for 57 yards and three tackles. He scored his first CFL touchdown on June 29. Michel was named a CFL player of the week for Week 6 when he had six receptions for 190 yards and one touchdown. The yardage total was the highest by a Stamps receiver since Romby Bryant’s 211-yard game in 2009. He was on the one-game injury list for Game 17. He had one catch for four yards and one carry for 13 yards in the Western Final and one catch for 50 yards and one kickoff return for six yards in the Grey Cup. Michel was the West Division’s nominee for Most Outstanding Rookie.


Michel played four seasons at UMass and, over the course of his career with the Minutemen, he made 92 catches for 1,016 yards and six touchdowns. He also had 28 carries for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
