O'Donnell played both right guard and right tackle in 18 games this season. O'Donnell started nine games at right guard. O'Donnell started at right guard for the Eskimos in the Western Semi-Final against Saskatchewan and the Western Final against Calgary.


In 18 games (18 starts) O'Donnell started eight games at left guard and 10 games at right tackle this season. O'Donnell won the Eskimos Offensive Lineman of the Year.


O'Donnell played in six games (one start) along the offensive line. He played his first game on Sept. 28 in Calgary. On Oct. 13 he was the long snapper for the second half when Ryan King got injured and had one special teams tackle and continued to snap for field goals. He was on the reserve list for Week 12. He started the Eastern Division semifinal.


O'Donnell played his college football with Queen’s University in the CIS where he was a standout. O’Donnell collected several awards throughout his career including the Orrin Carson Memorial Trophy for best Offensive Lineman twice in 2009 and 2010; and was named a first team All-Canadian in 2009 and 2010.
