Highlights

2010

In March Warner attended the CFL Evaluation Camp.  He was selected by Toronto in the 5th round (32nd overall) of the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft Attended training camp with the Argos, dressing for both pre-season games he was released as a final cut on June 20. On December 7th Warner signed as a free agent with Toronto.

College

2010 Transferred to McMaster after playing four seasons at Waterloo (2006-09).  Started all 10 games at Right Guard and was a valuable member of the OUA's second-ranked offence that averaged over 200 yards rushing/game and almost 35 points/game. 2009 Named Warriors’ Lineman of the Year as a senior… 2008 Named Warriors’ Lineman of the Year as a junior.

Personal

Michael is completing his Civil Engineering degree at McMaster after transferring from Waterloo. He attended Westdale Secondary School in his hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. Mike’s sister is Marie and his parents are Ian and Jackie Warner. Off the field, Michael enjoys playing basketball and is also the offensive-line coach for the Tri-City Predators, a minor football team in the Kitchener/Waterloo area.
