In 18 games, Kanya recorded one defensive tackle and 12 tackles on special teams. In the Western Semi-Final against Saskatchewan, Kanya recorded one special teams tackle.

2013

In nine games, Kanya recorded one defensive tackle and seven special teams tackles. Kanya was placed on the 9-game injured list after Week 3. Kanya returned in Week 14 against the Toronto Argonauts and recorded one special teams tackle.

2012

In 18 games with the Tiger-Cats, Kanya recorded 11 special teams tackles and one fumble recovery.

2011

Jones played in 17 games for the Argos at right guard during the regular season as well as one playoff game.

Personal

Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on October 16, 1987. He lived in France and the United States before moving to Hamilton with his family at the age of 16. He played football at Cathedral High School. He played for the Ontario Varsity Football League’s Steel City Ironmen.

College

Played five seasons (2006-2010) at UBC. He recorded 120 tackles (97 solo), 16 tackles for a loss, eight quarterback sacks and three fumble recoveries.
