A four-year starter at the Universite de Sherbrooke, Fils accumulated 3019 yards and 16 touchdowns on 436 carries over 31 games. The Quebec native led the CIS in rushing yards in 2009 and was named a QUFL All-Star for the second time in his collegiate career (’07, ’09). He also recorded 21 receptions for 228 yards over the four seasons.
Fils began playing football when he was 12 years old and considers his high school coach, Peter Element, the greatest influence in his career.
