Had a breakout season in 2013 with career-highs of 45 receptions and 493 yards for three TDs. Ranked #4 on the club in receiving and had five games of 50+ yards. Scored his first career touchdown on Aug 16/13 vs HAM and started 14 times in 17 games.
Making a huge impression on the coaching staff in training camp, Kohlert started the first four games at slotback in place of the injured Cory Watson and remained on the roster until suffering an injury that forced him to miss the final three games. He also started one game at wide receiver and finished the year with 10 receptions for 148 yards and one touchdown. Kohlert caught four passes for 48 yards on Jul 13/12 against the Edmonton Eskimos and recorded his first CFL touchdown on Oct 8/12 against the Montreal Alouettes, when he hauled in three passes for 62 yards.
ohlert attended training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and spent the first four weeks of the season on the practice roster before suffering an injury which led to him returning to school for his senior season.
Kohlert led the Huskies in receiving as a senior, hauling in 28 passes for 506 yards and two touchdowns.
