STILL MOSCA line-up continues to grow

The line-up for STILL MOSCA, a tribute and fundraiser in honour of Hamilton Tiger-cats/CFL Legend and Canadian sport icon, Angelo Mosca, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, continues to grow.

The CFL and Hamilton Tiger-Cat Alumni Associations, the family of Angelo Mosca, Carmen’s Banquet Centre, Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club, Société Alzheimer Society Brant Haldimand Norfolk Hamilton Halton and the Alzheimer Society of Canada are pleased to announce many of the expected attendees at the event celebrating the career of Angelo Mosca.

The evening will feature a star-studded line-up of celebritiesincluding Matt Dunigan, Peter Dalla Riva, Terry Evanshen, Russ Jackson, Miles Gorrell, Chris Walby, Joe Poplawski, Michael “Pinball” Clemons, Dave Raimey, Less Browne, Marwan Hage, Rocky Dipietro, Jason Riley, Ben Zambiasi, Mosca’s Ticat teammates Dave Fleming, Joe Zuger, Bill Danychuk, Gary Innskeep, Don Sutherin, Bob Krouse; hockey’s Doug Gilmour; boxing’s George Chuvalo; wrestlers Rotten Reginald Love-Johnny Evans and Horrible Hartford Love-Wes Hutchings and their Manager Beautiful Bruce Swayze …aka the LOVE BROTHERS; MC Mike Bullard and special guest Brian Williams.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to “The Angelo Mosca Fund” in support of Alzheimer’s Canada research and the provision of local Alzheimer services in the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Hamilton Halton area, and a portion of the funds will be earmarked for the CFL Alumni and Ticats Association to assist their members in need.
There will also be a special display of Mosca memorabilia at the event. Fans will get a chance to get up close and personal with items such as the Grey Cup, the NWA Canadian Championship Wrestling Belt, Mosca’s Grey Cup Championship rings, and other personal Mosca items such as the cane used in the “capping” of Joe Kapp.
STILL MOSCA will be held on Wednesday, August 26 at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, 1520 Stone Church Rd East, Hamilton, On.
