In 18 games (18 starts), Grymes recorded 40 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, three interceptions and eight pass knockdowns. Grymes had interceptions in back-to-back games to start the season. In the Western Semi-Final against Saskatchewan, Grymes recorded six defensive tackles (tied for team lead) and one interception. In the Western Final against Calgary, Grymes recorded one defensive tackle.


In nine games (eight starts) Grymes recorded 18 defensive tackles and six special teams tackles and two pass knockdowns and one interception. Grymes earned his first CFL interception in Week 6 against Hamilton. Grymes was placed on the 9-game injured list in Week 8 against Toronto, but returned in Week 17 against Calgary and recorded two defensive tackles.


Grymes had a standout four-year career (2009-2012) with the University of Idaho Vandals. In 50 career games, Grymes recorded 248 tackles (174 solo, 74 assisted), two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Grymes finished his collegiate career with 32 consecutive starts after becoming a full-time starter in his sophomore season. He was voted a team captain in his final season with the Vandals.
